As children head back to school, it is difficult to believe summer is already about to end. To kick-off the fall season arrival, it is exciting to announce the release of my new single, Where Oceans Meet. Thank you to Jeff Herman for the photography and cover art design. Thank you to Piano Haven Recording Studio and producer Joe Bongiorno
The Drake Passage is the body of water from South America’s Cape Horn to the continent of Antarctica. The Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, and the Southern Ocean all converge at the infamous Drake Passage. It is considered one of the most challenging voyages for ships to navigate. We recently had the experience of traveling to Antarctica. During our trip, while sailing the Drake Passage toward Antarctica, we felt the waves and currents moving in many different directions. As we traveled farther south, the air and temperature drastically changed. Leaving civilization far behind felt wonderfully surreal. This was the inspiration for Where Oceans Meet.
Where Oceans Meet is available on all streaming platforms, worldwide, or you can listen here.

Sheet music for Where Oceans Meet is available on my secure website here. In the key of A major, the tempo is gently flowing with contemporary, lush harmonies. The left-hand patterns convey the rolling waves of the Drake Passage; the right-hand melody contains alluring octaves and chords. This neo-classical, contemporary music truly captures the story
After the 600-mile journey across the Drake Passage, we arrived in Antarctica and were amazed at the incredible landscapes!
My original solo piano compositions encompass the neo-classical, contemporary classical, and new age genres at the intermediate and early advanced levels. You can hear each piece on my website, or on your favorite streaming platform, worldwide.
Your continued support of my music, recordings, and YouTube Channel is greatly appreciated! Stay healthy and well! Enjoy your fall season!
Sincerely,
Suzanne Herman
